ECE alumni networking event at Transducers Conference
About 65 alumni, students, faculty, friends and family gathered for dinner and an opportunity to catch up with the department.
A stunning Alaskan landscape was the backdrop for this year’s ECE reception and dinner on June 23 at the 18th International Conference on Solid-State Sensors, Actuators, and Microsystems (Transducers 2015).
About 65 alumni, students, faculty, friends and family gathered for dinner and an opportunity to catch up with the department and their colleagues. ECE faculty and students traditionally meet for dinner with alumni at the Transducers conference, as they have been regular contributors to the conference since it’s inception in 1981. Transducers is one of the world’s premier conferences in MEMS sensors, actuators, and integrated micro and nano systems.
Khalil Najafi, Schlumberger Professor and Chair, Electrical and Computer Engineering, updated attendees about the latest and greatest going on in the department, and had fun handing out the True Blue door prizes.
